Holly passed away 10/9/2014.  She was brilliant, kind, generous, poised, a fiercely loyal friend, and reveled in her uniqueness.  She was an excellent student in all subjects, especially English, but she was possibly the worst (or maybe most creative) speller to ever graduate from Olympus High School.  Though she led a quiet life and suffered poor health for many years, she was a great philanthropist who supported many humanitarian causes and she was erudite in many subjects. She raised two accomplished children, Emily and Alex, and she could always be counted on to listen to and encourage those who were struggling.  It was an honor and privilege to be her friend and she holds a special place in the hearts and memories of many who knew her.

Holly was unique, beautiful and brilliant. She was indeed a very helpful and kind person. I would never have passed my college math courses without her help. We made a deal: She would tutor me in exchange for a meal that I cooked. She requested liver and onions (what?!?!?!). I thought she was the most sophisticated and smart person I knew. She also had the prettiest hair. I will always be grateful to her and keep her in my memory.

p.s. Paula, what a lovely and astute memorial to Holly.
